NextGen Sports Club policies
Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 25, 2026
This policy explains what information NextGen Sports Club (“NextGen”, “we”) collects through nextgensportsclub.org and program registration, how we use it, and the choices families have.
1. Information We Collect
- Registration: parents and guardians register players through PlayMetrics. This includes the parent's name and contact details, the player's name, date of birth, emergency contacts, and health information the parent chooses to share for the player's safety.
- Email: the name, email address and message you send us at info@nextgensportsclub.org.
- Website visits: our hosting provider records standard technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to run and secure the website.
- Photos and video: taken at practices, games and club events.
2. Information About Players
Information about players comes from their parents or guardians. The website is meant for parents, not for players to submit information themselves. If you believe a player has sent us personal information directly, email us and we will delete it.
3. How We Use Information
- To register players, form teams, schedule practices and games, and contact families
- To register players with leagues and governing bodies, such as VYSA and US Youth Soccer
- To keep players safe, including in medical emergencies
- To answer questions and share club news
- To meet legal, insurance and safeguarding requirements
4. Sharing
We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only:
- with leagues and governing bodies, such as VYSA, to register players and teams
- with service providers that help us run the club, such as PlayMetrics (registration and team communication), Google (email) and Vercel (website hosting)
- with medical providers in an emergency
- when the law requires it, or to protect the safety of a player
5. Photos, Video and Social Media
NextGen uses photos and video for coaching and video analysis, and to share club activities on our website and social media. To protect players, we do not post a player's full name, school or home location with their photo.
Opting out: email info@nextgensportsclub.org to ask that your player not appear in public NextGen posts. We will respect the request from then on and remove posts we control when asked. Video used only for coaching may still include your player.
6. Cookies
The NextGen website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. Sites we link to, such as PlayMetrics, Instagram, Facebook and YouTube, have their own privacy policies.
7. Security and Retention
We limit access to player information to the people who need it and use trusted providers. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. We keep information while a player is with NextGen and for as long as needed afterwards for legal, insurance and safeguarding purposes.
8. Your Choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your family's information by emailing info@nextgensportsclub.org. Some information may need to be kept for league, insurance or safeguarding records.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows the latest version. Continuing to use the website or NextGen programs after a change means you accept the updated policy.
