A Club with a Purpose

Founded in 2023 to give young players in Northern Virginia an academy-style path in the game

Meet Coach Khaled

Khaled grew up playing in Cairo, Egypt, first for El Shams Club and then in the youth system of El Zamalek SC, one of Africa's best-known clubs. He represented Egypt at the U14, U16, U18 and U20 levels, including the African U18 Championship and World Cup qualifiers.

He went on to earn 19 caps for Egypt's national team and played professionally in France with Troyes and Sochaux, before returning to Egypt to play for Haras El Hodood SC.

After his playing career, Khaled turned to coaching, with roles at the Barcelona Academy in Egypt and Total Futbol Academy in Virginia. In 2023 he founded Elite Kickers Soccer Club to bring professional-level training to young players in Northern Virginia. He holds UEFA and USSF coaching licenses.

His coaching is hands-on. Khaled demonstrates every technique himself and explains why it matters, so players learn by seeing it done properly and then repeating it. Today EKS teams compete in EDP, VPSL, N1 and the Fairfax Futures 5v5 league, and the club is a member of US Youth Soccer and US Club Soccer.
